Mount Pleasant Grains Ltd. is an independant family owned grain elevator near Russeldale, Ontario.

In 1967, Sherwin Friesen built his first dryer and storage bins and began drying corn for a few neighbors. In 2004 Sherwin’s son, Colin Friesen, purchased the farm with the grain elevator and continued until 2018 when Colin’s sons, Abe and Derrick Friesen started Mount Pleasant Grains Ltd. and partnered with V.D.B. Grains for marketing.

Today, Mount Pleasant Grains has expanded its storage, receiving, and drying capacities to be able to handle large volumes of corn, IP soybeans, RR soybeans, and wheat.

Our goal at Mount Pleasant Grains is fast and friendly service.
